#TEAMPAULA

Nearly five years ago, I heard three words that changed my life: You have cancer. In that moment, I stepped into the hardest, most defining chapter of my life. Treatment tested every part of me, but it also revealed resilience, faith and a community that carried me through.
Next year marks my five-year remission anniversary, and I’m choosing to honor it with purpose. I’m leading a fundraising team for Blood Cancer United’s Visionaries of the Year campaign — a national effort fueling research, patient support and access to life-saving care for people facing blood cancer.
This mission is deeply personal. I know what it feels like to fight for answers, to advocate for yourself when no one is listening and to hope for the day you get to ring the bell. I also know how many patients are still waiting for that moment.
The goal is to raise $500,000. If you believe in this mission — or in me — I invite you to join our team.
All of our work will bring us closer to a world where no one has to fight cancer alone.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, Blood Cancer United's Visionaries of the Year campaign works to make the largest impact possible for their mission to:
funding
Funding cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy and and personalized medicine.
support
Providing free education and financial support for blood cancer patients and families.
policy
Driving policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
